Amnesty Aarhus - Join Us!

Amnesty has local volunteer groups in several Danish cities. Amnesty Aarhus is a new group working for human rights through public events and activities, and by raising awareness of Amnesty's work at local occasions and in the local press.

At the first meeting, we get to know each other, learn more about Amnesty's human rights work, and discuss what each of us hopes to gain from participating. We also talk about what activities we could arrange or join to make human rights work visible in Denmark's second-largest city.

At the second meeting, we will be visited by Amnesty Aalborg and inspired by their many years of experience. We will establish guidelines for our collaboration and decide on our first activities and where we want to meet in the future.

At both meetings, representatives from Amnesty's secretariat in Copenhagen will guide us.

The meetings take place on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, September 8, from 5-6 p.m. in meeting room M2 by the café in Dokk1.

If you cannot attend both meetings, you are welcome to join just one.
