TWO WILD HORSES. Exhibition. Opening
Kulturstedet Lindegaarden, Kgs. Lyngby · free entry
TWO WILD HORSES is an exhibition of paintings and music by the artist couple Jonna Pedersen and Bjørn Eriksen - two strong artistic personalities working side by side while remaining distinct.
Jonna Pedersen works with the energy of everyday life and the complexity of communication. Her paintings draw on the graphic language of early advertising, film, and news. Through packaging, Danish dishes, familiar costumes, and film props, she reflects our time and evokes both grand and small narratives - layer upon layer. Bjørn Eriksen directs his painterly gaze toward humanity, existence, and the psyche through powerful brushstrokes, expressive colours, and figures moving between the figurative and semi-abstract. Archetypes, myths, urban types, and dream symbols meet us with empathy, satire, and gravity.
Bjørn Eriksen is also a composer. In connection with the exhibition, visitors can listen to his 10th Symphony EVOLUTION, recorded by FAME'S Symphony Orchestra in 2024. The exhibition also marks his 50-year anniversary as an artist.
The opening takes place on Saturday, 26 September from 14:00 to 16:00. Cultural journalist Inge Schjødt interviews the two artists about their works and practice at 15:00. The exhibition can then be seen on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 16:00 at Kulturstedet Lindegaarden until 23 October 2026. Admission is free, and visits outside opening hours can be arranged by calling +45 29 64 92 21.
