Conversations About Death
1. Hovedbiblioteket, Randers · 100 kr. · ≈ 13 €
Death is the one thing we all share with certainty - yet it remains difficult to talk about: the death of loved ones, our own mortality, and death as a concept. Literature facilitator Mai Kordelin Paulsen invites you to a series where the topic is explored through literature, songs, letters, cemetery walks, and graveside gatherings. We read, write, and talk together - because conversation about death is ultimately a conversation about life.
The series takes place in Meeting Room 3, 2nd floor, 16:30-18:00 on the following Wednesdays:
- Wednesday 23 Sept.: Conversation based on the novel "The Cranes Fly South".
- Wednesday 7 Oct.: Cemetery walk.
- Wednesday 21 Oct.: Guided group reading with grief as the theme.
- Wednesday 4 Nov.: Songs and hymns.
- Wednesday 18 Nov.: Graveside gathering.
Registration covers the entire series. Approximately 4 weeks before the start, you will receive practical information about borrowing and collecting the novel "The Cranes Fly South".
Price: 100 kr. Questions can be directed to Mai at tel. +45 21 66 60 51 or mkp@randersbib.dk.
