Literary Salon: The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie

The evening begins with a guided group reading at Kolding Library, where the librarian reads Agatha Christie's short story The Mousetrap aloud - no preparation needed. Afterwards, we discuss the text before heading together to Comwell Theatre.

Programme: group reading and discussion, shared dinner with wine or soft drink at 6-7 PM, departure to Comwell for the performance at 7:30-9:40 PM (140 minutes including interval), and a brief gathering in the foyer afterwards. You will receive an email with practical information before the evening.

The Mousetrap is a crime comedy based on Christie's short story. A group of strangers is snowed in at the Monkswell Manor guesthouse when they hear on the radio about a nearby murder. A skiing police commissioner arrives, and it quickly becomes clear that the murderer is likely among the guests. When another murder occurs, everyone is under suspicion - and everyone is a potential next victim. The play holds the world record as the most performed theatre production with over 30,000 performances in London's West End since its premiere in 1952.

It is possible to obtain a free companion ticket upon presentation of a companion card (issued to people with disabilities who need a companion in public spaces).
