Dogs are now a permanent part of many Danish homes - but what do we actually know about the relationship from the dog's perspective?

Karen Thodberg, senior researcher in behavioural biology at Aarhus University, gives a lecture on humanity's long coexistence with dogs: from the first wolves that approached human campsites to today's bred races and the considerations we make when we want to ensure dogs' welfare. Along the way, she examines what targeted selective breeding has done to the wolf in the dog.
