Bonfires, Community and Foraging — Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Copenhagen

Bonfire, Community and Foraging on Amager Fælled is a nature community for children and young people aged 11-15. Maximum 10 participants per session.

Meeting point: Amager Fælled https://maps.app.goo.gl/BW6eFtsKJycSq89D6?g_st=ic

Dates:
30 August, 10:00-13:00
19 September, 16:00-19:00
20 September, 10:00-13:00
27 September, 10:00-13:00

The programme concludes with a shared meal on 27 September, 13:00-16:00, which the participants help prepare. They can invite their families and showcase their new knowledge and skills - the young people guide the adults.

During the sessions, participants learn to light and tend fires, forage in nature, and cook over an open flame. The community is built on being offline, helping each other, and meeting with respect.

Organised by Christina Elhøj / Pusterummet (pusterummethik@gmail.com) and nature educator Lara Kromann, in collaboration with Kulturhuset Islands Brygge. The series is supported by Friluftsrådet.
