Brønshøj Songwriters Festival 2026 — Brønshøj Kulturhus, Copenhagen

A two-day volunteer-run festival at Brønshøj Kulturhus bringing together songwriters from across Denmark. Surplus revenue goes directly to musicians and sound technicians.

The festival features two stages. The concert stage hosts Karen Cecilie Cæsar, ISSE, CHIEF 1, Loud Tiger, Løvehjerte, Sound of 27, Brit Wilhelmsen, Ingeline, KH Søster, Ivan Pedersen and Glimtvis. The intimate stage hosts open mic sessions both days, where emerging songwriters perform their own songs, plus concerts with Ella Olympia, Sejd, Anja Majbritt Duo, Sally, Daniel Jul, Dyrby Inc, Jens Billingsø, Sophie Jully and Chris Enghart. Saturday evening features the awards ceremony for Songwriter of the Year and Emerging Songwriter of the Year.

Tickets are available on the festival website as youth tickets, day passes or festival passes. Under 18s and students receive half price. Early bird tickets can be purchased until 31 August.
