Portuguese Mornings at Vigerslev Library — Vigerslev Bibliotek, Copenhagen

Portuguese Mornings is an open, informal meeting place for everyone who wants to practice Portuguese or Danish - regardless of level. The event takes place every other Saturday from 10 to 12, with the first meeting on January 10, 2026. The venue is in the hobby zone at Vigerslev Library.

Participants gather in small groups with both Portuguese and Danish speakers. Conversation cards and themes are prepared, making it easy to get started, and each session ends with groups sharing what they discussed. You don't need to speak fluently - a willingness to listen and participate is enough.

The event is aimed at Danes who want to learn or practice Portuguese (beginners and experienced speakers alike), and at Portuguese and Brazilian residents of Denmark who want to improve their Danish.
