Every Thursday morning, stay-at-home parents and parents on parental leave meet at the library for play and the chance to network with other parents.

There are toys, dress-up clothes, drawing paper, and activity boxes, and you're welcome to bring food and drinks. There's a puzzle area and a coffee machine, and the library's own books are of course available.

The playroom takes place in the library's common room, so consideration for other guests is appreciated. It runs itself, but if you have ideas or questions, you can write to children's librarian Mie Aksglæde Olsen at Mie.a.olsen@koege.dk.

The parent group has created a Facebook group called Torsdagslegestue på Herfølge Bibliotek.
