The Writing Club is for everyone who wants to write in the company of others. The meetings feature writing exercises, text readings, and language play - and participants help shape what the programme will focus on.

The start is a mini folk-school course organized by Nadja and Julie from Dagbogsskolen. Along the way, the club visits Dagbogsskolen's cultural house in Nørrebro for inspiration, and the programme concludes with a small Christmas celebration.

There are always snacks available, and the community is open to all - no registration required, just show up. Supported by the Danish Arts Foundation.

About the venue: Herfølge Bibliotek

Herfølge Bibliotek is one of the branches of KøgeBibliotekerne and serves as a central meeting point for the local community. The bright, open-plan space with high ceilings hosts weekly clubs and events, while quieter reading nooks offer room for concentration. A large aquarium is a particular draw for children. The library also houses the local history archive for Herfølge-Sædder Sogne, open to anyone researching the area's past.
