The Search for Life in the Universe

The question of life elsewhere in the universe has fascinated humanity for millennia - and according to science, we have never been closer to an answer. Space telescopes and robots on Mars are mapping the places where the building blocks of life might hide: ice-covered moons in our own solar system with oceans beneath the surface, and exoplanets in the habitable zone around distant stars.

Astrophysicist Tina Ibsen goes beyond the scientific headlines and takes a closer look at how realistic it actually is to find "Earth 2.0". Ibsen holds a degree in astrophysics from the Niels Bohr Institute, was head of science communication at the Tycho Brahe Planetarium from 2013 to 2018, and today works as an independent science communicator and podcaster on RumSnak.
