Hess Is More brings Apollonian Circles to VEGA in Copenhagen on Saturday, 5 September 2026 as an extra concert. The band plays two Danish dates in quick succession, with this show marking their second appearance at the Vesterbro venue. VEGA occupies a protected 1956 building designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, who also designed the Danish Radio House. The venue opened as a music hall in 1996 and ranks among Denmark's largest concert spaces. This performance is part of VEGA's 30-year anniversary celebration.

About the venue: VEGA

VEGA is one of Denmark's largest music venues, housed in a listed 1956 building on Vesterbro designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, who also designed the Radiohuset. Originally called Folkets Hus, it reopened as a music centre in 1996 as part of Copenhagen's year as European Capital of Culture. The complex holds Store Vega (up to 1,500 standing), Lille Vega (up to 500 standing) and Ideal Bar, with around 350 concerts a year spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz and electronic music.

The Copenhagen drummer Mikkel Hess is the driving force behind Hess Is More, an international ensemble rooted in three cities whose sound moves freely between jazz, electronica and the dance floor. Nine albums in, the project remains a close creative partnership - not least with Mikkel's brother, pianist Nikolaj Hess.
