Film Club: Lilo & Stitch — Taastrup Bibliotek, Taastrup

The lonely Hawaiian girl Lilo adopts what she thinks is a dog - but the creature is actually "Experiment 626", a genetically engineered alien created for destruction, whom she names Stitch.

As Stitch wreaks havoc on the island, Lilo introduces him to the concept of ohana (family) and love, slowly making him question his destructive nature. Meanwhile, Dr. Jumba Jookiba and Pleakley are sent by the Galactic Federation to bring him back.

About the venue: Taastrup Bibliotek

Taastrup Bibliotek is the largest library in Høje-Taastrup Municipality, situated on Taastrup Hovedgade by Domhuspladsen. The building previously served as both the local courthouse and the municipal town hall before being renovated into a library in 2009/10. The collection covers books, audiobooks, e-books, films and digital media, and the library regularly hosts talks, author evenings and other cultural events. Outside staffed hours, visitors can access the building using a health card and PIN code.
