Batida presents the performance "The Journey to Grandmother" at Tingbjerg Library\Cultural Centre.

Laila has only seen her grandmother in a small photograph - she lives far away in a completely different country. Now Laila and her father set off for the first time, and they choose the slow way: bus, train, ship and hot air balloon. The journey ends in Iran, where they meet what looks like a ghost - but turns out to be a grandmother in her everyday clothes.

The performance is shown on Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25, both days at 09:15 and 10:30 in the Hall. It lasts 45 minutes and is for children aged 3-8 years.

Tingbjerg Bibliotek\Kulturhus is a municipal library and cultural centre in the Tingbjerg-Husum district of Copenhagen, designed by COBE architects and opened in October 2018. The four-storey building brings together a public and school library, a concert and theatre hall, a creative workshop, meeting rooms and a café. It was built in partnership between the City of Copenhagen and the housing associations fsb and SAB, and also serves as the school library for Tingbjerg Skole.
