Maren Uthaug visits Køge Bibliotek to discuss the ideas behind her speculative percent trilogy. The novel 1% was released in September 2026 as the final installment in her future trilogy, which also includes the bestsellers 11% and 88%. Uthaug is touring the country with this lecture.

The evening takes place in Uthaug's universe, where free-roaming men have been eliminated and society is matriarchal. Female orgasms serve as mental hygiene, and everything related to men is perceived as disgusting and repulsive.

Uthaug won the Golden Laurels for 11%. Both 11% and 88% were named Novel of the Year at the Mofibo Awards two years in a row. The books have brought her surprising headlines in the press, harsh messages in her inbox, and very long queues at book signings.
