The war in Ukraine has now lasted nearly four years and affects everything in the country: families torn apart, destroyed infrastructure, daily air raids, and shortages of electricity and other essentials.
Morten Schwarz Lausten, senior consultant at the Red Cross, visited Ukraine in November 2025. He shares stories about the Red Cross's work and how war has become part of daily life - but also about the hope that emerges when communities manage to hold together despite everything.
