Cultural Café: Austria - A Cultural History Journey Through Austria

The Sound of Music put the Austrian Alps on the world map, and since its premiere, the film and its songs have lived on as evergreens. Today, Austria attracts tourists from around the world - both for its music and nature. Vienna and Salzburg are renowned for their role in the classical music tradition, composers' homes have been converted into museums, and a summer in Tyrol is a recurring destination for many.

The event takes you on a tour through the Austrian landscapes: to the music city of Salzburg, the wine regions of Südsteiermark and Burgenland, and to mountain villages connected to artists, writers, and explorers.
