Sapphic Prom is not your awkward school dance - it's something entirely different. On October 9th, we dress up, fill the dance floor, and gather the community for one big prom night. Bring out that dress, suit, or heels you've been waiting for an excuse to wear. You can come with a date, with friends, or alone - you definitely don't need a plus-one.

There are DJs all night until 2:00 AM, and no prom is complete without a coronation: Sapphic Prom Queens will be crowned during the evening. 👑

About the venue: Basement

Basement is a cultural venue on Vesterbro, set in a former boiler room - a 200 sq m cellar with over 6 metres of ceiling height that allows for flexible staging. Run by the City of Copenhagen and tucked in a courtyard next to Vega, it hosts literature events, experimental concerts, alternative theatre and electronic underground nights, with most of its programme developed together with independent cultural creators from the city.
