About the venue
Basement is a cultural venue on Vesterbro, set in a former boiler room - a 200 sq m cellar with over 6 metres of ceiling height that allows for flexible staging. Run by the City of Copenhagen and tucked in a courtyard next to Vega, it hosts literature events, experimental concerts, alternative theatre and electronic underground nights, with most of its programme developed together with independent cultural creators from the city.
