Report from Wednesday Meeting, June 3, 2026
Seven members gathered over coffee.
Lisbeth informed about the initiative she and Aase have taken regarding a lecture evening on censored exhibitions organized by KunstPunkt. The background is the questions artists often face when submitting works: what criteria do the censors emphasize, and are there clear answers? The goal is a panel discussion with audience participation in September. Jørgen Steinecke - visual artist, art historian, lecturer, and former censor at KunstPunkt - has agreed to participate and hopes to find a visual artist as a discussion partner.
Bente explained to new members Jette Aagaard and Jytte Petersen, who will exhibit at KP in September, how censored exhibitions work at the venue.
