Embroidery Workshop with Dorthe Margrethe

Dorthe Margrethe, behind the Instagram profile @engletråd, guides you through hand embroidery and fundamental techniques. No prior experience is necessary. You will receive an embroidery kit to take home, containing threads in various colours, a needle, small motifs on stabiliser to embroider, practice fabric, and an embroidery hoop.

If you want to give something from your wardrobe new life, you are welcome to bring, for example, a net or a pair of jeans. Knitwear is not suitable for the workshop, as embroidery thread is not elastic, and very tightly woven fabrics can also be difficult to work with.

The workshop takes place in connection with an upcoming opening of an embroidery work at Risskov Library. Everyone from 15 years and up is welcome. Location: Pavillonen.
