Hedens Slægtsforskere in Grindsted and Billund Libraries invite you to a lecture with historian Steen Ole Hedelund Jørgensen about King Christian 10's dismissal of the Zahle government in 1920 - the sequence of events that later became known in history as the king's coup.

The lecture covers the Reunification of 1920, the struggle over the Flensburg question, the popular outrage, and the threatening general strike that ultimately forced the king to yield.

About the venue: Magion Biblioteket

Magion Biblioteket is the main library of Billund Municipality, housed inside the Magion culture and sports centre in Grindsted. Formerly known as Grindsted Bibliotek, it moved to its current location in 2012. Visitors can borrow books, music and other materials, and the building also contains a children's section and a Citizen Service office. The library runs a regular programme of author evenings, talks and reading clubs.
