Description was written before the event
Thit Jensen (1876-1957) was an author, lecturer, debater, and leading figure in the struggle for women's rights - one of the 20th century's most prominent Danish voices.
With novels such as "The Erotic Hamster", "Gerd - the Twentieth Century Woman" and "Stygge Krumpen", she established herself as a socially critical author and storyteller. She wrote about sexuality, marriage, abortion, and women's right to decide over their own lives and bodies. She also travelled the country and gave hundreds of lectures that stirred people's minds.
Inger Nygaard Kaad from Randers Library tells the story of Thit Jensen's life from cradle to grave.
