This book café is held in collaboration with Assens Sailing Club, and the maritime theme has been chosen accordingly. The event takes place in the Assens Sailing Club's premises.

Before the book café, Assens Sailing Club invites guests to dinner, with a short reading on the programme. Dinner costs 125 kr., while the book café is free as always.

You can register for both activities or just one. Registration is done through Assens Sailing Club - a direct link will be posted on the website soon. The registration deadline for dinner is 25 October.

About the venue: Assens Bibliotek

Assens Bibliotek is located on Willemoes' Plads as part of Kulturkajen, a cultural hub that also houses the tourist office and the meeting centre Kompasset. It serves as the main branch of AssensBibliotekerne, a network of six public libraries across the municipality. Alongside books, audiobooks, films and games, the library hosts author evenings, reading clubs, art exhibitions and events for children and adults. The county library in Assens was founded in 1925.
