Recycled Christmas with Repair Cafe: Sunday 29 November 2026, 13:00–15:00, Assens Bibliotek, Assens.

On the first Sunday of Advent, Assens Library hosts Recycled Christmas in collaboration with Repair Cafe. The event takes place in Lougen on the first floor.

The programme includes upcycling old books into Christmas decorations, a swap market for recycled Christmas gifts, and various other activities - including readings of classic Christmas stories.

About the venue: Assens Bibliotek

Assens Bibliotek is located on Willemoes' Plads as part of Kulturkajen, a cultural hub that also houses the tourist office and the meeting centre Kompasset. It serves as the main branch of AssensBibliotekerne, a network of six public libraries across the municipality. Alongside books, audiobooks, films and games, the library hosts author evenings, reading clubs, art exhibitions and events for children and adults. The county library in Assens was founded in 1925.
