Seaweed

Seaweed is not a plant but an alga - and there is a big difference. This lecture explores what seaweed and algae actually are, how they differ from plants and animals, and how they are cultivated both at sea and on land. You will also learn about the sustainable possibilities seaweed holds for the future in terms of climate, biodiversity, and food - and there will be taste samples of seaweed's flavour universe.
