Permaculture in Theory and Practice — Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Copenhagen

This workshop explores permaculture, edible forest gardens, and soil improvement, led by permaculture gardener, garden designer, and educator Charlotte Gross. The session begins with an introduction to permaculture as a concept and method, followed by hands-on work in the culture house's small forest garden, where participants plant and improve the soil. The event is open to everyone and encourages dialogue. Bring garden gloves if you have them - tools are provided.

Charlotte Gross trained as a Permaculture and Forest Garden Designer under Mira Illeris and Esben Schultz in 2011 and 2013 respectively. She runs PermaGartneren and works with permaculture, garden design, seed collection, and food production. She is also active in Denmark's oldest permaculture garden, Permahaven Gulereer, in the Seed Collectors Association, and in KBHFF (Copenhagen Food Commons).
