Lars Findsen: (The Real) Threats to Denmark — Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus

Lars Findsen is the only person to have led both PET and FE - and thus one of very few Western intelligence chiefs responsible for both a nation's domestic and foreign intelligence operations. With 20 years as one of Denmark's most senior civil servants, including as department head at the Ministry of Defence and head of the Center for Cybersecurity, he speaks from experience when addressing the country's security situation.

In the lecture, he examines concrete threats such as information warfare, cybercrime, hybrid warfare, and terrorism. He describes how these threats manifest in practice, what the consequences could be from a major attack on Denmark, and what options we have to protect ourselves - both as a society and as individuals.

Findsen holds a law degree and today advises private companies, facilitates business networks in the security field, and is co-founder and board chair of the security policy think tank Ny Verden.

The lecture takes place in the Great Hall at Hovedbiblioteket in Aarhus.
