Night's Wild Nature
Undervisningslokalet på Naturskolen, Maribo · free entry
Naturskolen in Maribo is opening a new equipment library - supported by Friluftsrådet - with gear for evening and night experiences in nature. The library belongs to the entire municipality and nature parks, and associations, schools, institutions and partners can borrow the equipment. This evening we'll put it all to use while enjoying ourselves in the classroom and lighting a bonfire.
On the programme: torches to spot night-flying insects on lures or in insect traps, modern bat detectors, UV lights to see glowing animals and plants, night binoculars to perhaps spot a fox, listening to the sounds of the night, stargazing and a camera in the owl box. The youngest can go on a reflective walk with adults.
The event is free and no registration is required. Bring practical clothing.
