DR Romanklub at Dokk1

DR Romanklub at Dokk1 brings together up to 10 participants to read and discuss novels nominated for the DR Romanprisen 2027. A facilitator joins the club, and the library provides the books. You have 3-4 weeks to read each novel.

The club meets six times, and the first titles are confirmed:

December: Maria Hesselager: I mit hus
January: Kamilla Hega Holsts: C
February-May: To be announced

Once all six novels have been read and discussed across the libraries' over 100 book clubs, each club votes on its three favorites - and the votes alone determine who wins the DR Romanprisen.

We hope to bring together participants with different backgrounds and experiences. Whether you read a lot or a little is secondary; what matters is the desire to read and share. We aim to prioritize new participants, but former members are welcome to join again.

Registration deadline is October 1st. Send an email to Britta at brril@aarhus.dk. Groups are formed immediately after the deadline, and you will be notified as soon as your club is set up - the first book can be picked up about a month before the first meeting. Location: Meeting Room 1.
