Final Descent & MSLAH: Hands On Fire (INT) + entrance/d (SE/ES/DK)

An evening with two projects from Copenhagen's underground scene, both working in the borderland between free jazz, noise, repetition and extreme music.

Hands On Fire is a ten-piece orchestra combining doom-heavy grooves, no-wave guitar, Mingus-inspired horn melodies, strings and vocals. Their extended pieces are shaped through a blend of composition and free improvisation, drawing on elements from punk, ambient, folk music, performance and theatre. The arrangements evolve differently from concert to concert. The show at Stairway is the Copenhagen release concert for the group's debut album, released in October 2026 via the Copenhagen collective and record label Movement Shaped Like A Heart.

entrance/d was founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by Yi Ten Lai and Harald Ture Ingvarsson and performs at this concert as a duo. The project accumulates sound layers into noise walls and long passages pushing towards trance and overload. Their self-released debut album is called Re-Enchanted by Fire.

The concert is presented in collaboration with Movement Shaped Like A Heart.
