Think Once: Democracy

Is there a democratic crisis today - or has democracy always been contested? This question is central when Humlebæk Library opens its new format 'Think Once' with democracy as the theme. The starting point is the history of ideas: what brought democracy into being, what view of humanity it rests on, and why it still sets the agenda in our society.

Literature facilitators Kristian Emil Mariager and Asger Malmmose Berndsen lead the conversation and continuously involve the audience. 'Think Once' is the library's own recurring format, where the two facilitators zoom in on periods, concepts and thinkers that have shaped everything from science to everyday life.
