Start a Seed Library

A seed library is a place where people share seeds with each other: you borrow seeds free of charge from the library, grow them at home, and can return new seeds to the collection. This way, seeds, experiences, and growing knowledge circulate from garden to garden.

At this launch meeting, participants will discuss how the seed library should work, prepare materials, and set everything up at Humlebæk Library. You don't need any prior knowledge - it doesn't matter whether you bring seeds in your pocket, some growing experience, or just curiosity. Feel free to bring seeds and/or jam jars.

After the launch meeting, there will be ongoing opportunities to meet and share knowledge. Activities take place at both Humlebæk Library and Fredensborg Library, with the official opening on Wednesday, September 9.
