DR Klub Klassisk: Richard Wagner

This evening in DR Klub Klassisk, Troels and Bodil Johansen focus on Siegfried and Götterdämmerung - the concluding part of Wagner's Ring Cycle. Both speakers are members of DR Klub Klassisk and have attended the Bayreuth Festival several times. They guide through the excerpts, following Siegfried's journey from rebellious youth to love and heroism, and Brünnhilde's ultimate redemption of the story.

DR Symphony Orchestra performs Siegfried and Götterdämmerung on 17 September at DR Concert Hall with two Wagner singers: Magnus Vigilius (Danish) and Catherine Foster (British).
