Who Controls Your Screen Time - Algorithms or Parents? — Biblioteket i Herning, Herning
Free entry

Algorithms are designed to keep us scrolling - but who really decides how much time we spend in front of screens? This lecture explores what constant digital availability does to our mental capacity and close relationships. The concept of screen quality is introduced, drawing a clear distinction between the time we choose consciously and the time we drift into without noticing.

Part of the lecture is aimed directly at parents: how to concretely support your child - and yourself - in navigating a digital everyday more independently and consciously, without natural breaks.

The lecture is part of the "Children's Wellbeing" series, where Herning Libraries regularly invite experts and communicators to shed light on current topics about children's wellbeing. The series is aimed at parents, grandparents and other adults in children's lives. Other topics in the series include infant sleep and security-building routines, as well as poor wellbeing and involuntary school absence.

Free entry - ticket required. Location: Kørner 2, Herning Library.
