Longevity - What's Up and Down in the Quest for Eternal Life? — Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus

Longevity is increasingly prominent in science, media, and among health influencers on social media. But what does the research actually say? How do we keep our brains and bodies young as we age, which myths circulate in the debate, and how do we distinguish between evidence and popular advice? And where is the ethical and existential boundary in the desire for a longer life?

These questions are explored in a conversation between aging researcher Morten Scheibye-Knudsen from the University of Copenhagen and philosophy lecturer Morten Dige from Aarhus University. Science journalist and sociologist Anne Sofie Hoffmann Schrøder moderates.

The event is part of Folkeuniversitetet's knowledge festival Hearts & Minds and takes place in the Main Hall at Hovedbiblioteket in Aarhus.
