Read a Classic

Herning Library hosts a one-off book club discussion of Johannes V. Jensen's novel "Kongens fald" (The Fall of the King). Participants read the book at home and meet to discuss its themes and what has made it a classic. No literary background is required - only interest in reading and discussing with others.

Coffee is included. The meeting takes place in room Kørner 2, and admission is free.

"Read a Classic" is an ongoing series at the library, where each event is independent, so you are free to attend one or more meetings. Registration must be completed by 7 September - after which a copy of the book will be reserved for you at your library. Registration is required despite free admission.
