Benefit Concert for Women Survivors of Violence

Kraner and Education Development Tanzania invite you to a benefit concert for women survivors of violence at Operaen, Christiania, on October 24. Doors open at 20:00, with live music, DJs, and a raffle featuring sponsored prizes.

Lineup: Josie Amadonna, Afskum, Sharon, Steamboi, Hexelectronix, and DJ Aske Andersen. The full programme will be announced soon.

All proceeds go directly to a health clinic attached to a safe house in Arusha, Tanzania, serving girls and women affected by gender-based violence and female genital mutilation. From September 2026 for eighteen months, EDT - funded by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs - will run an aftercare project for residents of the safe house, in collaboration with the Tanzanian NGO HIMD.

The benefit is organized by Kraner, a creative community for women+ and femmes run by six women, in partnership with the Danish-based NGO EDT, where two Kraner members also serve on the board. All work is voluntary.
