Scimitar is a Danish heavy metal band from Copenhagen, formed in 2024 by musicians who previously played in bands such as Slaegt, Endless Glory and Shaam Larein. The five-piece fuses black metal, post-punk and occult rock, a combination that quickly made them stand out in Copenhagen's underground scene. Their debut album Scimitarium I came out in February 2025, followed by Scimitarium II in April 2026, and the band has since appeared on stages including Copenhell.
