Morten Kirckhoff: What is the Best That Can Happen?

When Morten Kirckhoff turned his back on a secure career to pursue adventure, people called him brave. It puzzled him - he has never considered himself particularly courageous. That evening, he tackles the question: What is courage really? Is it something we're born with, or can it be learned?

Along the way, he draws on stories from his own life - from childhood's dark forests and abandoned places to new ventures and the search for love. He is an adventurer, lecturer, TV host, and entrepreneur who previously worked as a partner and creative director at the advertising agency Advance, where he helped develop LEGO Bionicle. Since then, he has shared travel stories in books and on television, and from 2019 he has co-hosted DR's travel documentary series Nul stjerner with Jan Elhøj.

The event takes place in Store Sal at Hovedbiblioteket in Aarhus.
