Repair Café Silkeborg

Repair Café Silkeborg is a self-help initiative when things break. Do you have a hole in your trousers, a hair dryer that doesn't work, or a watch that has stopped? Volunteers will help you get it repaired - the goal is to reduce overconsumption and challenge the throwaway culture.

We can help with things that need sewing, soldering, gluing or screwing, as well as small electrical household appliances, watches, radios, vacuum cleaners, toys, jewellery and similar items. If you're unsure, just ask.

Bicycles (including repairs), lawnmowers, large white goods, bigger machines and mobile phones are outside the scope of what is offered. Repair Café Silkeborg accepts no payment, and the volunteers are not professionals - therefore no responsibility is taken for errors in repairs or damaged products.
