Mini Theatre and Drawing Workshop for Children

A village girl is trapped - and the children in the audience decide what happens next. Thomas Knappe's latest choose-your-own-adventure book takes the audience through dark forests and down into a haunted crypt, all the way to the vampire's castle. At each turning point, the children themselves steer the story.

Afterwards, Thomas Knappe leads a drawing workshop where participants sketch their own hero or monster with guidance from the author.

Thomas Knappe (b. 1987) is a trained comic artist from Seriehögskolan in Malmö. He debuted in 2014 with the graphic novel The Wizards of Vestmannaeyjar, which won the Ping Prize for best debut, and has since published Dreams in Thin Air and illustrated several children's books. His choose-your-own-adventure books include How Will You Hunt a Monster?, How Will You Save the Kingdom? and How Will You Find the Treasure? - the fourth book in the series is presented here at Jyllinge Library.
