DR Romanklubben is a collaboration between DR and Danish libraries focused on new Danish literature. Six times from December to May, participants meet once a month to discuss a selected book - the six nominees for the DR Roman Prize, which is announced in May/June. The books are chosen jointly by DR and the libraries, with titles released gradually from summer onwards until December 1st.

At Roskilde Bibliotek, librarian Karen-Margrethe Revsbæk leads the meetings, which take place from 19:00 to 21:00. There are 10 places available, and registration must be completed by Friday, October 23rd at mellemreolerne@roskilde.dk.

Meeting dates: December 1st, January 12th, February 9th, March 9th, April 6th, and May 4th.

About the venue: Roskilde Bibliotek

Roskilde Bibliotek on Dronning Margrethes Vej serves as the central library for Region Sjælland and Bornholm and is the main branch in a network of six libraries across the municipality. Beyond books, e-books and films, it has a hall seating up to 150 that associations can borrow free of charge for concerts and events. The programme ranges from reading clubs and author evenings to workshops, music and children's theatre, and the ground floor houses the Roskilde Local History Archive.
