Stamps and Stitches - Creative Workshop with Puk Hyllested

A creative evening with Puk Hyllested, working with stamps and embroidery.

You'll start by carving your own stamp - the technique is simple, and the result can be used to print motifs on cards, notebooks, textiles and much more. Then you'll press the stamp onto fabric and embroider along the motif with simple stitches, so everyone can follow along.

You're welcome to bring a shirt, a drawstring bag or other textile (preferably cotton) that you'd like to embroider on. Fabric for small patches is also provided, which can be sewn onto a bag or similar afterwards. In October, Puk's new book "Stamps You Can Make Yourself" comes out with inspiration, tips and images - it can be purchased on the evening.

Coffee, tea and snacks are served throughout. The atmosphere is informal, and you're welcome to bring your own food.
