Spiritual Preparation? #1: The Possible Space of Faith

More young people are turning toward Christianity, and in contemporary novels sympathetic, fallible priests appear as mirrors of modern humanity's doubt and search for meaning. "The Possible Space of Faith" is the first event in the series "Spiritual Preparation?", which uses literature as a starting point to explore how we can prepare ourselves for life in a world of constant change.

17:00-17:45: Nikolaj Zeuthen, author and priest, speaks about why more and more people want a life with faith as a guiding element. The conversation is led by librarian Jan M. Johansen.

17:45-18:15: Librarian Ann Luther Torp recommends novels featuring priests in prominent roles, as well as recent novels that retell the Bible or are set in the 1st century after Christ.

Nikolaj Zeuthen (b. 1977) is a priest at Sankt Markus Church in Frederiksberg, author, and musician. He has written poetry collections, novels, plays, and comics, and is the lead singer and lyricist of the band Skammens vogn. The event takes place in the Hall at Roskilde Library.
