About: Cæcilie Norby

The Frederiksberg-born singer made history in 1995 as the first Scandinavian artist to sign with the legendary Blue Note label, going on to sell over 75,000 copies of each of her four Blue Note albums - figures unheard of in jazz. Rooted in Denmark's 1980s rock scene and equally at home in soul and pop, she has since toured Europe, the United States and Japan and released 15 solo albums.
