Color Printing for Beginners and Intermediate: The Reduction Method

This workshop takes place in BRØK's Print Studio and explores color printing using the reduction method: you work with a single linoleum block, which is carved away progressively for each color, and print on the studio's high-pressure press as you go. Picasso is among the artists known for this technique.

The ticket costs 325 kr. and includes two pieces of A5 linoleum, ten sheets of A4 printing paper, and ink for ten prints. Extra materials can be purchased on the day. Linoleum knives, pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners are available in the studio.

Bring an A4 sketchbook and sketches, photos, or other inspiration if you like, as well as work clothes such as an apron or smock. You can bring lunch or buy it at BRØK's café.
