Color Printing for Beginners and Intermediate: The Reduction Method
BRØKs Billedværksted, Copenhagen · 325 kr. · ≈ 43 €
A Saturday workshop focused on the reduction method in linocut, taught by visual artist Delphine Flyvehavn Andersen. The technique involves working with a single block that is progressively carved and printed for each color - you'll use BRØKs Billedværksted's new high-pressure printing press. Picasso is among the artists known for this technique.
The ticket costs 325 kr. and includes two pieces of A5 linoleum, ten sheets of A4 printing paper, and ink for ten prints. Extra materials can be purchased on the day. Linocut knives, pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners are available at the workshop. Feel free to bring an A4 sketchbook and any sketches, photos, or other inspiration - as well as work clothes such as an apron or smock. Lunch can be brought along or purchased at BRØKs café.
