Description was written before the event

A plantotek is a green exchange space where you can give, take, or swap plants and cuttings - both for indoor and outdoor use. There is also a guestbook where you can share and find gardening tips.

If you have a plant that needs a new home or seeds you don't use yourself, you are welcome to bring them along. You might find something new to take home.

The plantotek is open at Hvalsø Library from September 4 to 13. It is partially unstaffed, so visitors are encouraged to take only what they need. If you don't have a cutting ready on your first visit, you are always welcome to stop by another day.

About the venue: Hvalsø Bibliotek

Hvalsø Bibliotek is a branch of Lejre Bibliotek & Arkiv, housed as its own unit within the local Kulturhus on Skolevej. The lounge area offers a view over the nearby lake and playground, and the building's entrance is marked by a facade of birdhouses made from reclaimed wood. The library also has its own garden. Beyond lending books and other materials, it regularly hosts workshops, exhibitions and talks, and serves as a gathering place for local families.
