Forest Day and Building Insect Hotels for Your Garden

We take a short walk in the forest and collect materials to build insect hotels - shelters where overwintering beneficial insects and wood-boring beetles can find refuge. We provide shell structures to fill with materials, plus other building supplies. You're also welcome to bring fun items from home that can be used.

Along the way, we'll have a bonfire and make apple pancakes with apples from the local area. Bring your own packed lunch and drinks.
